Walter
is a graduate of Lafayette College and the University
of Massachusetts-Amherst (MBA). He has worked in private
industry at ITT and Wang Labs. His securities research
experience began with 3 1/2 years as a securities analyst
for The ValueLine Special Situations Survey. From 1986
to 1998 he was Executive Editor and the principal Special
Situation stock analyst of the FRC Special Situations
Letter, an investment newsletter devoted to seeking
out emerging growth stocks with uncommon investment
potential. He also edited the FRC Mutual Fund Letter
for its two year life. Prior to launching Walter Ramsley's
Special Situation Letter in October of 1999 he was Executive
Vice President-Research for the Boston investment bank

Last, CFA: President, Managing Director-Portfolio
and a Portfolio Manager
 Russell
is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin at Madison
(BS). He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA),
a professional designation governed by the Association
for Investment Management and Research (AIMR). He has
been employed in the securities industry since 1978
when he joined A.G. Edwards and Sons as a registered
representative. Starting in 1984 he managed the Financial
Services Department as a Senior Vice President for Craig-Hallum,
Inc., a Minneapolis based investment bank. His capital
markets experience there included the management of
investment accounts as well as the direction of Craig-Hallum's
Investment Consulting and Retirement Plan Units. When
Craig-Hallum, Inc. was acquired in 1992 he became Retirement
Plans Department head for Hamilton Investments. Prior
to founding Walrus Partners, LLC in 1997 Russell served
as Retirement Plans Manager for Principal Financial
Securities(now a unit of First Union). |
